Club Meetings are
every 3rd Thursday of the month, February through October.
The 2009 Flint Rock and Gem Club Show:
The show will be
held on October 17 & 18 from 10am - 5pm both days at Carter Middle School,
Rogers Lodge Dr. Clio, Michigan.
Admission is $3.00 for adults
and $1.50 for children 6-18
The show will
feature continuous demonstrations by some of the best lapidaries in
the country. Silversmithing, faceting, carving, sphere making,
sandcasting, and many displays of fossils, minerals, and jewelry
will be on hand to feast your eyes upon.
You will want to bring the tots along and
let them visit the kid's "Rock-in-ally" table, especially designed
to educate children in the earth sciences and lapidary arts.
